It is always so hard to sum up a year in a few simple words, let alone a paragraph. When each month deserves a chapter or book of itself. But if I had to sum up my 2023, it would look a bit like this:
2023 was the year of transformation. I started the year off by thinking I had it all figured out. My path, my purpose, my soul, my self. Instead, it was the year that broke me and the year that woke me. It forced me to shed old identities, old names, old versions of me.
It was my year of soul searching, inner shadow coping, and readjusting. The year I experienced the highest of highs and the lowest of lows. The year my childhood wounds and past life wounds came up like never before and triggered me immensely.
A year of having unresolved fears, anxiety, sadness thrown back into my face. The year I had to let go of everything I ever knew in order to make room for what was meant to enter my life. In the most wholesome of ways. The old, familiar, the “feel-good.” The perspectives that challenged me. The people that touched me.
The year I felt the most displaced, awkward, reawakened. The year I found my soul area, soul tribe, soul life. The most adventurous year I've had. The year with the most intensity.
The year that changed everything. Yes, 2023 was quite something.
