What is your spirituality and how do you define it? Is it the amount of meditations, trainings and experience that you have accumulated? Did you consider yourself a spiritual being even before you knew what the word meant? Are you spiritual when you walk around your house or answer your emails? Or do you think this is not part of you and has nothing to do with the essence of who you are?
It’s important to put the label aside and see spirituality for what it is. It carries “spirit” and “soul” in it and implies we have to be living our life fully present - here and in the now in order to even experience it. Whether you do that by being silent for a few moments a day or by running errands is almost irrelevant. You can dance through life and make the most mundane tasks a spiritual experience, if wanted.
Delays might not be seen as a nuisance anymore but a way to communicate differently to others or look at the present moment differently. Our bodies are not just our vessels but our temples. They deserve to be treated as such, as well.
Bringing spirituality back into our daily lives - an ongoing task it seems.
