Palm Sunday - the day before entering the Holy Week and leading up to Easter. On this day, some religions remember the triumphant return of Jesus into Jerusalem. For others, this day brings in Passover and other traditions. This day can be seen as both a symbol for joy and sadness. Triumph, victory and celebration of the return to the holy city but in less than a week the crucifixion, which set another string of events into motion. Some colors of significance during this time: red and purple.
