I was recently asked by someone what my next adventure will be and look like. To which I simply replied: Life is the adventure.
With only a handful of new countries to explore until I finally hit that 50-country mark (a goal I've been eyeing for years), I have a few inklings of an idea of where my next travels will take me. However, it would be overrated to say that only my travel adventures are worth acknowledging and to push away our everyday lives as if those meant nothing compared to that. I see life overall as the adventure.
As much as I like to be on the road, I also enjoy waking up in my own bed, spending time with my pet, friends and family and exploring the city I currently call home. I also enjoy other things that go into life such as sharing it with someone, building up a life with someone else, congratulating my friends on their new life chapters and all the things. It is enormously important to recuperate after journeys like the one I took. And to not chase one travel high after another - a thing many people are perhaps addicted to in today's world and after being locked down for so long.
Life overall looks so different for each and every person. Everyone is on their own journey and adventure. What is important to one, does not hold the same importance to another. Make your life as adventurous as you want. As long as you don’t lose yourself in the process.
